Housing
When purchasing poultry housing or comparing our products with other suppliers, please ensure that you compare like for like. DEFRA recommend that each large fowl bird should have 1 sq ft of floor space each, so a house that is 3 ft x 4 ft would hold 12 birds. We work on 1½ sq ft per bird as a maximum. Overcrowding causes a faster and more prolific infestation of parasites, leading to unhealthy birds. In addition to this, you will find that you will need to clean your birds out far more often than you should be. Each of our houses gives the maximum amount of birds we would put in the house, depending on bird type, so please be aware of other suppliers giving unrealistic capacities for the housing.

The delivery charges quoted include delivery and assembly on your premises. Unfortunately we can only offer this service for a 40 mile radius from SL4. Please contact us if you are further than this and we can quote you an alternative cost.
